Welcome to the Glen

Glen Williams is a hamlet in the Credit River valley and is part of Halton Hills in the Halton Regional Municipality. The Credit River extends over 1500 km from the Niagara Escarpment, emptying into Lake Ontario at Port Credit, Mississauga.

The historic Williams Mill, originally built by Benajah Williams and sons Joel and Charles in 1825, was lovingly restored in the 1990's and is now a thriving visual arts center with working studios for artists and craftspeople. Glen Williams Public School moved from it's original location at 11 Prince Street to it's current location, directly across from the Mill in 1965. It is currently home to approximately 220 children.

  • Changes to Special Lunch Days In an ongoing effort to streamline the lunch program at school, we have decided to use Lunchbox Orders for our lunch program going forward.  This program offers a unique website for our school that allows you to go on and place and pay for your orders through their website.  There are a number of advantages to this program:  1.       It allows greater flexibility in ordering as you can order weekly, monthly or for the year 2.       All payments are processed through their website so no money or orders are sent back to the school 3.       You can cancel a lunch up until the Sunday before 4.       It allows us to offer special lunch days throughout the month as an extra ...
